I have two sets of A329TW installed in my vehicle, and I'm looking forward to it.

The Change Log was just updated.

I did a little A/B testing with the dewarp stuff and noticed its cuts off more of the sides than I'd like as part of the defishing process so I'm going to leave that off, but great to see it available as an option!

Very cool to have BP100 integration via BT now as well so we don't have to worry about wiring.

Thank god.
I was hoping you’d say something since you have a lot of photography experience.
Since Dewarp is 100% software, it can easily be re-tuned right?
According to my yardstick Horizontal FOV went from 111° down to 90°
Do you think an even 100° FOV would be ideal?
For reference here’s how 100° FOV would compare to previous VIOFO CAMERAS

FRONT:
..90° FOV A329S Dewarp Setting
..93° FOV A119 Mini (2022) IMX335
..99° FOV A119 Mini 2 (2023) Original Lens IMX675
102° FOV A229 Plus
111° FOV A139 Pro
111° FOV A329
111° FOV A329S
112° FOV A229 Pro
112° FOV A229 Ultra
112° FOV A119M Pro (2025) IMX678
114° FOV A119 Mini 2 (2023) Updated Lens IMX675

What is it the benefit of losing 21° of FOV with the new firmware? As a photography emthusiast I understand the value of perspective control. But, if I want maximum evidence collection then more FOV means more chance of capturing a vehicle entering from the side or a hit-and-run at the edge of the frame.

I also agree with you

You are correct.

You are also correct.

But we are going off topic from OP's thread.
I will start a new thread just for the PROS & CONS of the new Dewarp Setting.
I was going to that a while back, but I was waiting for the firmware to go public so we had enough A329S users to see it first hand, and start voicing their like / dislike of the new setting.
It looks like we have enough people now.
