Viofo Recorder New App (ios)

The app version is now v1.0.2.15
All testing done on an iPhone 8

When I go to view files it prevents me from looking at any of them until a process is done.
I have tried to work around this process but I can't.
I have to wait but it doesn't show how long it is going to take or even some indication that it is 'thinking/processing'

I find this so frustrating.
Consider this scenario:
I have finished the drive and want to quickly check a file but I can't. I can't because of the process.
So I just abandon using the app and fall back to the old app.

The process is called:
Video synthesis

Anyone know what it us doing?

Yes both ios and android need some work
 
It does now attempt to do Over the Air firmware updates.
It prompt me to update the A229Pro but it failed. At least it is trying.

Next time when testing an IOS app before public release. Please use testpilot so that customers do not have to suffer through testing your public app.
 
True to Viofo word here is an update.

Version 1.03 for iPhone / IOS

For the app to work 'correctly' i still needed to disable 4g
 
What does this mean? What Firmware support?

I think they are saying the dashcams needs to be updated so it can use the new over the air updates method.
 
Viofo's latest ios app update.
Adjusted to work with A329hdmi version using firmware v2
