Viovo A129 hardwire kit - possibly wired incorrectly?

Hi all,
Im in the process of installing my dash cam on a 2011 subaru outback. When I first plugged it in the dash cam turned on without even putting the key in. The wire labelled battery was put onto an always on circuit and the wire labelled ACC onto an on when accessories are on circuit. I found when I reversed this with the battery onto the accessories circuit and the ACC wire onto the full time circuit it turned on only when turning the key on and turned off when I turned the key off.
Am I missing something here or was my hardwire kit wired incorrectly?

Switch it back to how you originally had it wired (correctly), then power cycle the camera by turning the car on and off. It’s normal for the camera to turn on if you plug it in while there is still power to the hardwire kit (voltage cutoff has not shut it off).

Thanks capture, I did try that a few times with no luck. I think I sorted it out though, when I moved the power input from the socket labelled power to the one labelled USB it seemed to work correctly.
