Some time ago, a Vueroid representative approached me with an offer to test drive the new Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 3CH model.
I had read the discussion thread about this model before and found it very interesting, so I was happy to agree.
Since I have several cars in my family, I asked for two models: a 3CH and a 2CH, as well as an OBD cable and GPS module for installation in a third car.
This would allow me to seamlessly transfer the S1-4K 1CH from one car to another.

You can buy the Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 3CH on Amazon:

I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to James for providing me with the test models and additional accessories.

I received:
2x Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 3CH
2x GPS Module
1x OBD Cable
2x SD Cards (256GB and 512GB)

2x Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 3CH.webp

I don't think it's worth republishing all the photos. They're all on the manufacturer's page https://vueroid.com/product/s1-4k-infinite-3ch/
and on Amazon.

First nighttime outing. Drizzling rain. A few screenshots. Comparison of the S1-4K and A329S.
The S1-4K is mounted to the right of the rearview mirror. The A329S is mounted to the left of the rearview mirror.
No enhancements were used because I haven't figured them out yet.
Since I wasn't planning on making a comparison, the resolution on the S1-4K is 4K 16:9. On the A329S, it's 4K 21:9.
The Bitrate on both models is set to maximum. HDR is set to auto. CPL is set to on.

I installed the second S1-4K in another car with an A229 Pro.
Also, driving in the dark. Drizzling rain. A few screenshots. Comparison of the S1-4K and A229 Pro.
Both models are installed to the right of the rearview mirror. The A229 Pro is installed first, followed by the S1-4K.

Just for your information:
When the HDR function is enabled, the S1-4K starts recording a new file at the time set in the timer.
There is a 5-second pause between normal video and HDR-enabled video.

I installed a 512GB Vantrue memory card into one of my S1-4Ks to test compatibility.
During testing, the memory card was completely full at least once.
It continues to work without any issues.

Ausgezeichnet 🙂

Nothing beat a brownstone wall.
And i am not saying that even if my family have been masons going back several 100 of years.

Vueroid has created user video tutorials and posted them on YouTube.
There are 21 videos for the Vueroid S1 4K Infinite model alone.
I personally learned a lot from them.

Restoring/Closing the last file on the memory card.

Since the S1-4K has neither a battery nor a supercapacitor, the last file is always incomplete when it's turned off.
The next time you turn on the S1-4K, this file will be completed, but the last file after shutdown will still be incomplete.
What if you need the last file?
1. Insert the memory card back into the S1-4K and turn it on. (The file will be completed in the S1-4K.)
2. Bring the memory card home and open it in Vueroid_PCViewer on a laptop or PC. Vueroid_PCViewer will automatically complete the last file.
Today I conducted an experiment:
I removed the memory card from the S1, brought it home, and inserted it into my laptop. The last, incomplete file was 20251020_153530_INF_F_N.tmp.
I launched Vueroid_PCViewer on my laptop and asked it to open a video from the memory card. Vueroid_PCViewer reported:
"Do not press anything, file is being closed." After a few seconds, Vueroid_PCViewer displayed all the files on the memory card in mp4 format.
If I then looked at the memory card, all the files there were completed in mp4 format.

Forgot to clarify:
Restoring/Closing the last file is only possible on the memory card.
If this file is copied from the memory card to any folder on the laptop/PC, it won't close.
In any case, I was unable to complete the file in Vueroid_PCViewer, which was copied from the memory card to a separate folder.

1.) What if owner / driver removes SD Card after an accident before car is towed away / impounded by police?
The owner / driver will not have readily available access to S1-4K.

2.) What if owner / driver is unconscious / expired after an accident, and first responder / police remove SD Card from S1-4K.
How will first responder / police know to download specialized / proprietary software.
Police / courts / government agency will most likely be unable / unwilling to download specialized / proprietary software to their government issued PC.

Dashcam video evidence must have zero compatibility issues.
Playing / viewing dashcam video evidence must be as simple as inserting VHS tape in VCR, or DVD in DVD player.
This is a compatibility issue.

This is why we designed the TFF file system. If you use a cigar power, the last file is not completely closed, and if you remove the daschcam from the GPS mount without turning off the power switch the result is same but the file is not corrupted. It is configured to close the file normally at the next boot. If you connect the SD card to our PC viewer, even the incompletely closed file is recovered. And also if S1 operate with Hardwire cable, the file is always perfect.

1) You are fear-mongering.

2) It is not a compatibility issue.
