I remember way back testing the mini 06 i think it was, the temp display was temporary enabled in the startup phase.
In general not something i would want in my footage, i just need to know temperature related things are handled correctly or should i say effective.

The 2K version from Vueroid is perfectly adequate for reading European license plates.
However, I would recommend buying the 4K model if your budget allows. It is always reassuring to have that extra performance headroom, and that "reserve" often proves useful.
 
Just watched a video on the Vueroid AI license plate restoration. At lesat based on this one YT video with only 349 views, it did a very good job. I hope Viofo implements this feature. Any software that can do this? I live in Ontario, Canada and our plate characters are a blue colour.

And some drivers use these illegal plate covers that obscure the characters to avoid redlight tickets or other people being able to read their plate. I don't think any software can restore or decipher those obscured plates. I couldn't even visually make out the characters on them until I drove up very close to one at a redlight.

No program will help here...
What is needed is a law that mandates penalties for drivers using such covers—ranging from a hefty fine to the suspension
of their driver's license for a specific period.
 
There is a fine $110 CAD. Those who can afford it just pay. Beats a $300 redlight camera ticket for them.
