My First camera has been tested by the supplier, the Firmware cooked the rear camera. he has had 10 back so far rear cameras dead. firmware ver 1.014

They also need to sort out the bitrate its bad man. real bad. I am going to wait and pay some cash for a mini 8010 dashcam as a backup

Ironic that you said in your other thread that it was only running 25-30 degrees and could do a higher bitrate!
I'm not sure how the firmware will affect the rear camera though, is it not just taking power one way and transmitting video signal the other? Surely the front unit is doing all the work? Which makes me wonder if there is a inherent technical fault with the rear cam. :| Bit worrying!

I think if i had been more clued up on the forum I would have gone for a Mini 0801 for the front and the None GPS version for the rear.
