what files size do you use when recording?

I noticed that there are several options, for example, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.

Wonder what you are using and why?

Is it best to use a small size in order to email a file to someone?

I set my filesize to 10 minutes in early 2017 when I bought the A119, and I haven't changed it since. That gives me a tenth of the number of files when compared to 1 minute.

All will be too large to email.
Best way is to upload to personal server space & provide link in email.

and if you can't use dropbox/google drive/onedrive/etc then you can always upload to youtube/vimeo/etc. the quality will be lower than the raw file, but more people will be able to view it. and in many cases, extreme detail/clarity might not be needed, for example, to prove you didn't cut anyone off and brake check them, or that your light was green, or that you never left your lane, etc...

personally i use 1 minute files. makes it easier to find things when i want to go back and see something we encountered on the road.
