DAB201 same problem
1.When start engine my car , display show "Goodbye" and then shutdown every time
2.No detect or long time for detect the GPS signal, km/h not show

Capture Your Action was kind enough to post this latest firmware for the DAB 201 and DAB 202 in another thread. I am using the release below for the DAB 202 now. Works great.

Here are two new Firmware versions for the DAB201 and DAB202. You have the option of MPH or KM/H in the menu. There is one labeled DAB201 and one labeled DAB202. I believe they are the same except how they appear in the firmware section of the camera menu. One will say DAB201 and the other will say DAB202. They should be the same otherwise. I have not road tested these yet.

Format SD card on your desktop.
Copy and paste the .bin file to the newly formatted card.
With camera off, insert this sd card.
Turn cam on. Option to update firmware will be presented. (Yes/No)
Once firmware update is complete (it's quick) the camera will turn off.
REMOVE the SD card.
Insert a different clean SD card into the camera, or remove/format the first SD card again on your desktop.
Check all of your settings, as they will have been overwritten.

My card was 128gb so I had no option other than ExFat.

My microsd is 64Gb. I've used SDFormatter for Windows. It automatically picks ExFat. I've also formatted the card inside the camera using it's firmware function. It's also in ExFat. They both work.

Make sure the GPS module is mounted to the windshield or at least has a line of site to the sky.
The default speed setting is mph. You need to select km/h in the menu.

My GPS sometimes when I start engine it show 200 km/h speed and my speed limit alarm. (I set 100 km/h)

Recommended: When update new firmware is finish.
Go to "default setting" in menu.
format SD Card** ( data loss )** before use new firmware
V.2385 better than old firmware.

Dear All,

I have an issue with DAB-201. I thought that FW update had help but unfortunatelly no.

From time to time (latelly offten) i get info low card speed stop recording. Card is fast enought it is UHS-1. I have also updated FW to posted by CaptureYourAction - no improvements.

Do You have any idea ?

You sure your not using one of the high bitrate versions? I got that when using the high bitrate version even though I was using a good class 10 card. Just not fast enough. Do you have another card to try?

Bitrate is max 24Mbps ~ 3MBps, 3min clip = 540MB

I tested card also it is 20MBps write ~ 160Mbps - much more then required I think, am I right ? Please correct me if I am wrong.

p.s

I have already cheked also 720p mode - the same issue from time to time.

It really sounds like a bad card. If you are replacing look for at least a U1. If you want to support high bitrate, look for a U3
