Upload the original video.
You can post the video on the forum, you need to upload it to any file sharing service (Google Drive, etc.) and insert a link to the video on the forum, it will be easier to analyze and give you a hint.
You also need to know the exposure settings, what value?
WDR on or not?
P.S. In your photos, as I understand, you don't like the rays in different directions?
This usually happens when:
1) the glass is dirty from the inside
2) the glass is in small chips from sandblasting.

Are you sure you took all the protection film off the camera lens and CPL (check both sides)?

Guilty! I did once leave the protective film on the inside of a CPL. It fit so perfectly in there that I completely missed its presence. :shame:

^ short video
You can see the street lights have huge rays and its size and brightness seem to be magnified 10000x as my car gets closer to them. Especially the first one, it's like a sun lol.

^ Here's someone else's video at night. The street lights have no rays around them. They get bigger and brighter too as the car gets closer but not as exaggerated as in my video.

Exposure is at default 0.
Tried WDR on and off, no difference.

Cleaned the windshield both inside and outside, no difference.

Very sure. I've been using the cam since like 2018 😛 And this only started recently, without me changing anything.

Looks like you have cleaned the glass with wax polish!

Glass should be cleaned with detergent and nothing else, then wiped down with a perfectly clean cloth, or paper towel. You don't want any coatings left on the glass, no softener from the washing machine that washed the cloth you used.

There is definitely something on one of the glass surfaces, but I can't tell which from those images, probably the windshield rather than the camera lens.
