What software do you watch your A119 videos with?

Maybe look into a linux distro like Linux Mint - it's pretty user friendly and will run on almost anything.

I have this idea too, we'll see.

nothing dashcam-specific, but vlc is of course there (probably installed by default). I have to wonder how much work would be involved in porting MacOS software into Linux, since MacOS is based on OpenBSD, which is another flavor of *nix. And there's always Wine to run windows software in linux. Steam also exists in linux, though that's just for games, and the performance isn't as good as in windows, but i'ts better than nothing!

OH sorry Windows 10 on a "few year old" laptop

It was originally a windows 7 which had the free windows 10 rollout - is that what you need? my computer knowledge is verrrrry limited
