looking at buying this as a travel dashcam, but it seems a bit outdated as it came out several years ago

However it seems there is a "2023 version" ?

I would assume sensor and SOC might have been updated, one of them or both.
A starvis 2 sensor maybe ?
Not aware if the old N1 maybe had a Omnivision sensor ??

I must admit that the 1080p Omnivision sensor in the 70mai Omni camera i am testing, i really like its dynamic range.

impossible for me to find the difference. at 75 euro it's a nice travel camera i think (maybe with gps at 23 eur)
was also looking at garmin 47 or 57, but they are at least 170 euros . bit steep for the few times a year i will use it

Well i bought it.
with gps mount it was 107 euro
As someone who has a Thinkware U1000 installed, I must say I'm very impressed with the image.
It's nice to have a screen; as i will use it for rental cars, it helps to quicky set up the right angle.
