@viofo, the A119 manual has conflicting information.

On page 6, tip #2 says this:
It is recommended to keep the G-sensor set to "Medium" (default setting).

But on page 14, the description of the G-sensor setting says this:
The G-sensor measures g-shock forces. The setting from "Low" to "High" determines the amount of force needed to lock the file from being overwritten by loop-recording. We recommend leaving it set to "Low."

Which is it? Please clarify and fix this in your manual. Thanks!

It's something each has to try themselves. A stiff suspension or bad roads can create a lot of false "events" while a smoother car or better roads might have none.

Note where the roughest part of your usual drives is at, and look for G-sensor activation at those places. If you see none, you might try "High" sensitivity. If you see too many activations on smaller bumps try "low". Some cars, roads, and cams simply will not allow G-sensor use unless you clear the locked files frequently, while some have reported g-sensor didn't work in hard crashes with other cams. It's good to use if you can get it set up right.

DERP. I thought high meant it has a higher threshold before it goes off. No wonder I've been getting a lot of false-positive recordings! Back to medium it goes.
