On the front of the Len there is a rotatable ring with "0" and "90" on it. What is it, a polaroid filter, and where is the setting point, on the top of the lens?
What's this on my Nextbase 312GW?

If it is a polarising filter, you rotate it for minimum reflections of the dash etc, in the windscreen.
