Where did you install your aftermarket battery?

As per the title really.
Just looking for suggestions of where to install an aftermarket battery?
I have MK7 GOLF if that helps for suggestions.
 
Behind left foot kick panel. It was easy there because thee fuse box was there and it would be protected and hidden from direct sunlight.

In my glove box as I believe the car fans pump air into there and it's lined with felt. Also I only use the glove box to store the manual and it's also right in front of the fuse box, seemed a logical place to put it. Mines also a golf.
