Which fuse should I tap to?

Two Viofo cameras (front and rear) I need power always on. If I mess things up I don't wanna damage an expensive system.
Should I disconnect the battery before installing the fuse-tap?

You have to see what circuits are constantly active before you tap into the fuse box. I tapped into the cig fuse since I only want the cams to be on when the car is running. If you want the cams be be powered all the time I would just run power direct from the battery with a 10A fuse and run the wire/cable through the firewall, or check to see if the ECU circuits are constantly powered.

No need to disconnect the battery. Just pull the fuse you want to try, and set the fuse-tap in it's place correctly with the original fuse placed in the fuse-tap where it goes. Super-easy to do. Finding the right circuit to tap isn't always as easy though.
