Hello all,

I have been in the market for an SD card finally, but not sure which one to go with:
I have read that the 256GB cannot be formatted in exFat and instead needed to be used with Fat32 and therefore although it works, but it doesn't work as good as a 128GB exFat. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Here is a list of items which I am looking into, but not sure which is better or worse, so was hoping that someone can chime in and point me in the right direction. Price is all relatively the same, all under $100.

I use Lexar Platinum II 128 GB for past month with zero problems in exFAT.

Lexar Platinum II 128 GB Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00KAIJZFI

Would this one be better than the gold one which is x600?

I'd get the one Zyntax linked to. The camera doesn't require any more read/write speed. (best bang for the buck)

I guess if you want the videos to transfer off the card faster it might be worth a shot. That is, if you have a USB 3.0 SDXC reader too. I haven't heard much feedback on the gold label though so you're in uncharted waters.

If you want something that you know will work for sure stick with the better silver deal.
