Which side of the BlackVue B-124x is the cooling/fan side?

I just bought the B124x battery for my car. And I want to place it somewhere but I don’t know which side the cooling is on, so I don’t block it and the battery becomes too hot. So is it the side with all the stripes or the other flat side? I’m guessing the side with the stripes or however you call it.
