You will have to configure it.

It broadcasts it's own WiFi SSID, but as per my thread, this is only visible to certain devices to start with, mainly Apple products.

If you can't connect your phone to the camera, then you will need to plug the SD card into your computer and run the windows viewer.

This will allow you to change all the settings and add in/turn on the hotspot feature, SSIDs and passwords.
