(wide-angle)lens adapters ?

I was wondering if there are any lens adapters available for the LS400W (which would most likely also fit on most other DOD's).
I would love to see the angle increased from 140 degrees to for example 160-170 degrees.
But I have no idea if this would actually be possible.... maybe someone knows about some kind of DIY guide, in the case there is no pre-made adapter for it...

I would recommend to change the lense unit.
M12x0.5 (sometimes called S-mount) is a standard for almost any dashcam, most common SoHo ip cams and small CCTV modules.
You just have to pay attention to the ir filter (with or without ir cut), sensor size (1/4" or 1/3") and the physical dimensions. Sometimes you need to modify the exterior housing to make fast lenses fit.
