Wifi control multiple Yi cams?

I'm looking into building a bullet time camera system (like the matrix movie) and would like to use the Xiaomi Yi sports cameras. I'm only taking still photos and not video. I just need 60+ cameras to take a picture at the exact same time, and then download them into a central folder after. Via Wifi, wired or hard wired.

Is there a way to do this?

Is there someone out there able to do this for me if it's more complex than just basic command lines in a web browser like you can do with a GoPro? We can talk details.

P.S. The wide angle lens isn't ideal for photos. Any thoughts on hacking the lens with a new normal angle lens? I know there is a correction option in the camera but it losses megapixels.

some replacement GoPro lenses are dearer than the cameras themselves
