Wifi / recording issues?

Hi all,

I'm a new user of the U1000.

I've recently been downloading videos via WiFi through the Cloud app, rather than removing the SD card.

Now, I understand the camera does not record when connected to the app.

However, after I close the app and receive the "disconnected from a smartphone" message, I can see the "RECORD" LED light up, but it doesn't actually record. It only seems to again record once I have power cycled the camera and I hear the "continuous recording will now start" message.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
