Will a dash cam (Viofo A 119) be affected by a magnetic mount?

I had to leave the mounting plate behind in my old totaled car. I guess my other option is to just super glue it to the wind screen. Talk 2 me..dog nose (2019_02_17 20_35_24 UTC).jpg

Viofo can probably get you a new mount, but magnetic mounting will be fine if you prefer that.

I have used strong neodymium magnets for many years to secure some of my cameras, i have not noticed any shorter lifespan of those cameras VS other cameras mounted in a more traditional way.

They normally have some on their web site, also available on ebay etc.
 
Two mounts were provided in the box, but mounts are readily available on eBay and direct from seller sites.
