Will this setup work ? Looking to buying an A119 V3

It should work fine plugged into the cig lighter using the supplied cable, it can be a bit more difficult to get neat, but maybe you have a "cig lighter" somewhere out of the way like the glove box?
 
I don't know how many manufacturers do it, but my Honda has a dedicated options socket. That has 5 fused pins and all you need is a Honda 'Option Connector' and the jobs a goodun.

From memory my 5 pins are:

Ignition position 1
Ignition position 2
Reverse selected
Door open
Permanent power
