Won't turn on - Solid red light

Before I try to contact support to get a replacement, has anybody had an issue with the unit not turning on, unplugged or not? When it's unplugged the red LED and "nextbase" logo are lit up. When it's plugged in (whether to the car or PC), the red LED turns off and the unit is not recognized by my PC anymore. I have tried resetting it, removing the memory card and plugging it in with another USB cable. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi.

Please remove the SD card, then press the reset button on the underside of the Dash Cam. Then, without the SD card inserted, please turn on the Camera. Does it now start normally?

When you plug a USB or Cigarette Lighter Cable into it, do you see a Blue LED illuminate?
