Xiaomi Yi Camera - "Cannot generate thumbnail" photos

Can someone help me with this problem? It seems that my photos and videos are corrupted.

try to delete app catch, maybe it will help..
 
Happened to me too. Any ideas? The problem seems to be on the Android device though, I connected through my wifes phone and it worked. Also, if I just grab the photos through USB or from the SD, they are fine.

Also it sometimes slows down my phone to a ridiculous extend (Nexus 5, latest stock +root), so theres definitely something wrong with the app.

But since the 1.12 firmware, I did get some freezes on the camera too, I never got any freeze on previous firmwares.

Just got the app 1.8.1 update and it seems to be fixed. Everything is also very faster than previous, properly working versions.
