Here, they claim all these lenses work with the Xiaomi Yi .
I miss some examples , as they just show gopro examples, but for those of you more serious about filming this might be an interesting place to take a look at.

Based on the comments in the peauproductions website alleging those lenses are compatible with both gopro and xiaomi yi, i wonder if this could be an option to have 170º angle for our little fellow:

Nice shots! I'm very interested in this lens. How hard was it to do the swap and make sure it was in focus after the swap? Have you seen any of the pinkish or bluish tint in the corners that seem to happen to a lot of the gopros using this lens? I didn't see any in the stuff you posted.

Thanks, It is easy to do, just carefully remove the glue fixing the lens.
check here: (start from 8 minutes 36 sec of video)

to check focus after lens change I used micro HDMI cable connected to large screen TV and pointed camera out of the window. Also you can take a picture and then check focus, if bad just turn lens a little bit and take a picture again.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered it. Just wondering if you used plumbers tape to keep it tight in the threads or screwed it in bare? Thanks!

Hey, i am looking for a replacement lens for my Xiaomi yi action cam (22) as i scratched the lens while filming but I am confused between the Xiaomi Yi lens (Gearbest) or the Gopro lens(2,3,4)
1. Is there significant differences in image and video quality?
2. Will a 170mm Gopro lens give me fish-eye?
3. Please provide links to lens that you think would be good
