Your camera is plugged in USB ? There is no information if the camera is charging...

The camera was fully charged, not plugged in, just connected via WiFi to the App.

what camera version? They changed camera's battery string in some firmware revision.

Well, these are wonky things with them original apps. You are lucky its working for you at all.
