Yi or upgrade to Yi 4k

I have a question..now i have a yi sport cam and i'm very satisfed.
My main use of that cam is for selfie and shooting panoramas..
I use also for video but is a secondary use (less than photo use).
Now i found a good offer for buy new cam yi 4k (not the last one 4k plus) and i want to know if that upgrade is a good idea or not..considering my main use i risk to shot worse photo??!!!
Photo quality of yi 4k it's better or not respect old model of yi??
My fear is that sony sensor imx377 12mpx(yi 4k) is better for video but worsens phto quality respect old sony imx 206 16mpx (yi)..

The original YI cameras are great. The YI 4K is basically the same but with a touch display. I supposed video quality is slightly better, but only slightly. The original YI is cheaper and more easily modified. The YI 4K has a battery that lasts almost twice as long as the YI.
