Young couple left dog in a crate to go hiking

Temps were in the 80's that day. 80°F/26.6°c. They were on the same trail I was and I finished in 2 hours. They were still out there when I left.

so was that them with the dog as you were parking? looked like they were giving it water or something. at least it was in the open air and not in an enclosed vehicle where it would quickly get well over 100f inside.
