OK, I am looking for a dash cam with a wider angle than 120 degrees, 170 is my preference, but I think 140 will work. I am on a very limited budget of no more than $55. I found this camera on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B0166EBWKUHere is the manufacturer website for the same camera: http://www.annke.com/car-video-recorder/annke-x10-1080p-hd-wide-angle-driving-recorder.html I found a few videos on Youtube about the X9 and it looks good, I know the chipset is a General Plus GPCV2159A, but it supports a 64GB memory card which is necessary because of all the driving I do. Anybody seen this camera or have one. What are your opinions, the other camera I am looking at is a G1WH or G1WHT. So what do you guys think? My current camera is a genuine DVR-207 which has been great but lacking in video quality. Thanks for any help you could be.

This looks like a re-branded GS98C with a lower end chipset. (I think the GPCV2159A comes in the G1W-HT). It seems like the pins don't really come on the camera as people on Amazon have mentioned.
I would also stay away from it.
know the chipset is a General Plus GPCV2159A,
Can you provide a link to something that says this?
Thanks.

Here is my GS98C for casing comparison.

Thank you all for your help, out of curiosity, are the GPCV2159 chipsets really that inferior to the Novatek 96650?

From what I've seen they do an awful work with tricky light situations. I saw a video a while back and it would constantly change between balance modes brutally, suddenly the sky would switch from yellow to blue. I've also found the night video to struggle a bit with the framerate, not that noticeable, but if you looked at parked cars you'd see a bit of choppiness.
