Z 60 Master in house

My harness came with fuses already on the ends, plus an inline fuse on each wire. Vueroid does the same, with the inline fuse. In my view, the inline fuse is a real waste, since we are already fusing at the fuse tap. Those inline fuses can make it harder to pull the wire in (in some instances) and generally take up space in an already confined area. With the fuses on this DDPAI harness, they will not work in my fuse box, so they will get cut off also. I am going to cut out the inline fuses also, as the area is getting tight around the fuse box. I wish manufacturers would stop putting these fuses on. 🙂

My headliner - yep, that is going to require me to pull out an existing cable, I think. There is actually very little room in the headliner at the top of the windshield to hide the wires in. I think I have reached the max I can stuff in there.

There are quite a few unused fuse places in my car, but there are no wires going to them.
I learned that installing the power pack, i was like YES but then no.
I did learn that one of the fuse blocks and another thing ( a relay of some sort i think ) can be removed, and much needed CUZ otherwise no chance to get to any of the majority of the fuses that is like 5 inch or so deep behind the plastic cover, and not forgetting the stiff wire bundles criss crossing in front of it all.
Not at all easy getting in there just to probe fuses to see what is ACC or always on

Hell manual for my car,,,,, also not of much use as it seem to either depict another car model, or same model but fully equipped and then tilted, a Danish engineer would be so embarrassed if he would have to release something like that.
Well i hope so, at least this wanna be engineer would.
Also manual ONLY on PDF there are no one following the car, there are 2 small pamphlets for like services ASO, but they do not specify when these services have to be made, and what to be done.

I have tested the MIC on the system today, there are some differences in the pickup of the front and Interior cameras, even if they are mounted very close to each other.
But this might be a case of where the MIC are in the unit, so one might face forward towards the windscreen where as the other face right into,,,,, well my ugly face.
The rear of course do not pick up very much back there, but there is a increase in the waveform in my editing software when i move to the back seat and of course to the rear hatch and so are right there at least as close as the 2 systems in the front are when i sit there.

Front camera on top, below interior and at the thin bottom track the rear camera.

I had to use my editing software's sync using audio feature CUZ the 3 files are actually a little off as you can also see by the pic above in the back end not yet cut to length.

Okay so i have been playing Doctor Dashcam ( NOT Doctor Detroit ) and fixed as best i could the focus on the main camera that i assume shifted during memory card testing.
So i took a short drive today to get a little footage in and do some plate capturing.

The Z60 master surprised me, when you get back to the car, and it have been in parking guard, it will say so if there have been any events, i miss that in other systems i have tried lately.
