Had the opposite, sound is on and driving down the road suddenly said its off... Happened a few times but seems to have fixed itself.... Not done it for a while....

Just installed my second 500, this time in my own car the other went into the wife's, and noticed that I have v1.005 installed... Whoopee ;-)

I'm on the mobile as bored at work ;-)

It also fixed the FAQ which was the same problem ..

They have just released up update that fix's this v1.011 :)

Hi, just joined this forum after reading about the green led and freezing.... I bought the Dr500 from a web dealer in the uk, fired it up and got the first spoken message about initialising the card, and that was it the green led remained on no second message, tried another card, formatted it...
