It's because you have event videos. As soon as you hit a bump, the player stops recording in the movie mode and creates an event video for 30sec.

Sounds like a codec problem. Try playing the videos with VLC.

Use the Android app, it's the only one that works correctly with the time.

It's definitely something wrong with your battery. My cam initially would just shut down without saying anything. After driving for about 2 hours, the battery got charged and now it's always saying "The recording were end"...or something like that.

Finally managed to set the correct time on my cam. Apparently the WinyBBViewer isn't setting the time. The Android app does though. With the G-sensor set to low, about 20% of the videos are events videos. Not so cool. I guess once a week I'll have to delete them from the card.

The camera comes with a 8GB class 10 card, which is good for about 3 hours of recording.

My dashcam arrived in less than 36 hours, that's cool. Paying an extra $10+tax to Fedex was not so cool. Updated to WINCAM_V300_130226_EN.bin. It's English alright, but the accent is hilarious.
