From the beginning there was a disturbing noise on my DVR-207 videos when playing on PC: http://youtu.be/bMaPi2sonLo
It could not be heard when driving. Then I figured out that it might be caused by mechanical vibration. Carefully shaking the camera in the hand I could hear some weak crackling from inside the camera.
I opened it and noticed that only loose parts were the lids of the memory card and the USB and HDMI slots. I took them out, closed the camera again and tested it. The crackling was gone!
The lids are not necessary parts, so I left them away. Of course the lids could also be tightened by soft glue or something like that.
