sadly I suspect there's some markets where this would probably be popular, how it performs as a dashcam is unlikely to be a consideration of the potential purchaser
 
Can't be bad if is made in Korea and by Navist which seems to have some experience in car devices. You can find two sample videos on youtube if searching for VIEW-T A100H. Even if the stupid uploader used 360p and flv, the quality is not bad.

Maybe for your use $230 is much, but for the nice pink hot chick is not. :lol:

looks like some of the webcam manufacturers have decided to start doing dashcams, have seen lots of these wacky designs as webcams for years, I guess in certain vehicles where the dashboard is full of junk ornaments they wouldn't look out of place, not something I'd want in my car anytime soon though 🙂
 
Univue UB500-HD
Good specs, but:
1. Why that stupid form factor?
2. Why white? Dashcams are not smartphones to promote them in white color but selling almost black version.

WinyCam V300HD

Lucky, they released also a full black color and this was the only screenshot I found it full black.
The Livue LB100 is the same dashcam but with another form factor, black and the lens border is gray.
