3M adhesive on black dot windshield area

About to mount the camera. Would like to know if the 3M adhesive can damage the black dot wind shield area when it is to remove, or if it won't stick well. How would u remove 3 M adhesive anyway?

I was reading around. While i do not think that it would hurt it the windscreen dot matrix is just a way to provide some help in glare reduction for the driver. I was reading people were having a hard time getting suction cups to stick in the area, and while i did not see anything about damaging it someone on a radar detector site says using RTV Silcone Gel will allow a suction cup to stick to a dot matrix.

Would be really neat to have something like this that was able to move left and right that would hold a DashCam
