The DIMIKA dashboard camera is manufactured by the Chinese company Innotrends. The DIMIKA is a direct competitor to the very popular Mobius DVR and the Innovv C1. Unlike its competitors that use the Novatek 96650 processor, the DIMIKA is using the Siri A11-A processor. This is the first time we have seen this processor in a dash cam but from what we have heard this is a lower end processor. We do not know which CMOS sensor this camera is using.
The DIMIKA records 1080p at 30f/s and uses a variable bit rate that typically ranges between 15 to 19Mbps. Video quality is very good during the day and average at night. Quality is slightly worse than both the Mobius and the Innovv C1. However, colors appear to be more natural with the DIMIKA which is great for an action cam but not particularly critical for a dash cam.
The camera does not come with GPS or screen and it is very small at 64 x 38 x 16mm. It comes with a tripod mount built into the body which is a nice feature. We would like to thank our member niko who provided a detailed review of the DIMIKA on our forum.
Splash Bag
The DIMIKA has a splash bag accessory that may be of interest to some buyers. While not the most aesthetic, it provides some protection against water. See this video from niko.
OTG Adapter
The DIMIKA also has an OTG MicroSD / MicroUSB adapter available for sale. This allows users to watch captured footage if you have an USB-OTG compatible android smartphone available. See this video from niko.
Known problems
There have not been many problems reported with this camera yet.
Battery Not Charging
Our member mister_rf had a problem with the battery not charging in his DIMIKA. This was caused by a burnt out “UN8HX” chip. He describes how he fixes the problem in our forum here. This problem appears to be rare.
Disassembling the Camera
The following video from our member mister_rf shows how to disassemble the camera.
Thanks to our member niko for providing these teardown pictures.

DIMIKA vs Innovv C1 vs Innovv C2 vs Mobius
Should I Purchase?
The DIMIKA is a great small camera but from a dash cam perspective, the video quality of both the Mobius and the Innovv C1 is superior. Also the $100 price tag (with no accessories) is more expensive then its main competitors. Overall, if you are considering the DIMIKA camera, we suggest looking at the Mobius first.
