The GOODTS D013 is a generic Chinese single channel dash camera released in Apr 2019. The camera is very low priced and is popular on Amazon.
While the specs of the processor and CMOS sensor have not been disclosed, we suspect the camera is using the Generalplus 1248 processor and Galaxycore GC1024 CMOS sensor which is common for this generic camera .These components are not found in many dash cams but are typically only found in cheaper cameras.

While the names are different, the build quality and performance is the same regardless of brand.
Video Quality
The GOODTS D013 records 1080p video at 25fps with an average bitrate of 8 Mbps. Video quality during the day is below average and night quality is very poor. There are also many complaints that the video is blurry and out of focus from numerous owners. While the camera is very low cost, video quality is quite disappointing and makes this camera a poor choice.
Features
For $25, the D013 has limited features. It comes with a 1.5″ screen and g-sensor. It does not have GPS, WiFi or a useful parking mode. The camera does not come with audio error notifications, only screen error notifications which can easily be missed on the small screen.
The D013 comes with both a suction and adhesive mount and can swivel 360° to record interactions at your side windows (i.e. police traffic stop). The D013 is a small camera at 71 x 30 x 46mm. The build quality is not the greatest. The camera is lightweight it feels cheaply built with numerous complaints regarding the suction mount.
Support
GOODTS does not have a website and provides limited support for the camera. We have not seen any firmware updates camera since the D013 has launched. GOODTS provides a 12 month warranty, which is standard for most dash cams.
There are reports on Amazon that GOODTS offers free gifts in exchange for reviews. This is not the most ethical practice since reviews obtained due to free gifts are not unbiased. We believe this has influenced the positive ratings on Amazon.
Known Problems
Audio Only Files
Some owners complain that the files recorded by the camera are audio only (no video is recorded). There is no known solution to the problem.

Should I Purchase
The GOODTS D013 is a very cheap $25 dash cam with very basic features. Unfortunately, like most of the dash cams in this price range, video quality is poor. Build quality and reliability is not great either. Combined with limited support since this is a generic camera, we suggest you spend a bit more for a better camera.
