Can you just add the GPS mount to one purchased without GPS?

Another dumb question from me.
As title says can you add a GPS mount to one purchased without GPS and will it work without any modifications.
Reason being one car could use GPS and other one not.

Yes no problem. Just be aware the 0801 GPS mount uses mini USB while mini 0803 uses micro USB. There is also a new improved thicker base edition being offered by some sellers.
