Took one out for a spin today in the back window and it was horrible. Quality was ok, but the video was super jumpy. Sometimes it would record smooth but most of the time it is jumping all over the place. Lagging, then would try to catch up, skip forward, fall back again etc.

Using a brand new class 10 32g sandisk card.

Edit:
I watched the vids on my tv (which has a card reader) and it seems that was the problem! Very strange, I play tons of videos from a wide variety of cameras (all 1080p) using this method. I even use micro sd cards with the adapter and the videos always play perfectly smooth.

This is the lowest resolution camera I have and creates the smallest files...why is the tv having such a problem?

I uploaded a video to youtube to show the 'choppiness' and it was gone when I watched it on youtube.

Re: VERY choppy 207

You have tried battery remove/factory setting/card reformat ?

Re: VERY choppy 207

Yep / yep & yep.

Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to format the card in the camera?

Just tested the other camera and it does the same thing. Two separate memory cards. Both cameras brand new, both cards brand new.
