G1W-C Delayed Recording & Video Duration

For some reason my G1W-C has a long delayed start before it will start recording. It used to start recording as soon as I turn on my car. Now, even though it is on, it doesn't start recording until approx. 2min later.
Any ideas?

Also, this seemed to happen around the same time I lost the option to record videos with 2min duration. The minimum now is 3 min.
 
My Papago P3 with capacitor does the same. I suspect bad capacitor that takes time to charge.
