Halford myHDC app discontinued from the app store

Hi. Not sure how many people this will affect, but today unnoticed the myHDC app was not on my phone. I tried to re-download it but it’s been removed from the app store.
Halfords (via automated chat) put me in touch with HDC themselves but as of yet had no reply.

This leaves my Halfords HDC400 basically useless.

I’m going to see how far I can push this with Halfords.

Something like that is not uncommon with the myriad of little no name dashcams out there.

Just found this thread but the new app does link "Ring Connect" although doesn't connect long (iphone anyway) and complains of a firmware upgrade that it will not complete.
