How to connect to phone’s personal hotspot?

When I connect to the cam’s WiFi to setup my iphone’s personal hotspot name and password, it doesn’t connect. Anyone able to stream videos from their phone’s WiFi hotspot?

Are you able to see your iPhone's hotspot when looking for hotspots to connect to?
I'm able to connect my phone to the BlackVue access point but I can't even see my iPhone's hotspot when I try to connect the cam to some other wi-fi hotspot - I can see a bunch of wi-fi in the area but I haven't tried to connect to anything but my iPhone.

Are you on the latest software 1.006?
It seems to have some bugs with cloud connection, so it may be related to that.

No I don’t see it, just manually type in the hotspot name. On 1.006

Yeah, that was what I tried too.
I could type it in but it didn't seem to actually connect.
Also on 1.006 so I wouldn't be surprised if that's why.
