No power from hard wire kit?

Hey guys, new to the site and couldn't find the same problem.

I followed the generic youtube videos for installing a hard wire kit for my mini 0801. Tapped the fuse, attached the hard wire kit only to have no resulting power to the camera after multiple attempts on multiple fuse locations..

Any suggestions?

I would first check to see if the cam works with the included 12V power adapter. If so, you know the cam works. Next, what size fuse are you tapping for power, and are you adding a 2A fuse between that and the cam?
