As per the subject, my GPS Logger supplied with the SGGCX2PRO+ camera seems to have an expired battery. Symptoms: when turning off the car and returning to it after only a few minutes, it takes >2.5 minutes to get a GPS fix (when viewing with SG Dashcam Viewer). I realise I can easily get a replacement unit, but was wondering if it would be worth opening it up and replacing the battery myself.
I found this old video about flipping the electronics in the original GPS Loggers but the circuit boards might well be different now. From the pictures it looks as though the battery could be slid out from under the metal contact, but could also be soldered. I'm no expert!
Does anyone know the answer?
