At least that was not a major highway! Same thing happened to me. On a highway where speed limit is 80Km/h, he stopped, in the middle of a highway and put the car in reverse so that he can make his exit!
Good thing I had plenty of distance between me and him and was able to slow down and not get rear-ended and honk at him so he would start driving again!
