Tow truck driver apparently needed more work

I'm sure there was some reason why the tow truck driver pulled out of the exit lane and crossed 3 lanes to hit the Jeep, but I have no clue what it was...

 
he REALLY didn't want to take that exit! it IS a toll road, afterall. wouldn't want to have to pay $2-3 to drive on a special road... rather spend $50k repairing a jeep and flatbed.

did you give your video to the jeep driver?
 
We uploaded it to youtube and told the police about it. It would have been too dangerous to stop at the scene and talk to the jeep driver so we uploaded it to youtube and told the police about it. Never heard anything else back from anyone about it.
