Two videos from the weekend

The first video is a car cutting across two lanes a traffic to make a right turn. I linked the video at the start of the action, but the video is longer which shows the movement of the white car in the middle lane:

The second video is a car running a red light in front of oncoming traffic captured in parking mode. I think the driver was trying to trigger the light to change colors. I'm not sure why he chose to drive through the intersection with oncoming traffic headed his way unless the traffic light was malfunctioning:

Probably not the case here but I think if a traffic light doesn't change for a long time, you're legally allowed to treat it as a give way sign.

I'll have to do some research to see if that's allowed here as well. I'm less concerned about them running the light, than I am about the particular moment they chose to run the light.
