Understanding the basics of cloud

Clearly I am doing something wrong.

I have a 970X LTE with a smart sim.

However I have zero recordings in the cloud.

I understand that not everything is uploaded to the cloud (no idea why not) but I am getting nothing at all.

When I view in the app I have several videos in live event upload, but nothing in the cloud. It offers me the option to upload to the cloud manual.

Does Blackvue not automatically upload to the cloud?

What is the point of paid plans, as on current experience it would be empty?

What am I doing wrong?

Stupidly I thought that if I had 5gb of cloud space, I would be able to view 5gb worth of the latest recordings, which perhaps might be a month or so.

Need some basic help to understand the limitations of the camera.

You’ll wanna make sure that the automatic upload feature is enabled for all the different types or events you want to save.

To automatically upload parking mode impacts, for example, you go to camera settings, event triggers, parking impact, live event upload on.

All of my automatic uploads go to the live event upload area too.

The cloud area is when you go into the different in-camera videos clips via the app and then manually tell them to upload to the cloud.
