or less useless, and they hijack key words in tests in the forum, making it hard to place toyr cursor any where without things popping up.

Using firefox.

Just installed a addblocker addon to my firefox, that helped a littlem but the hijacked keywords is still there, and i even get full screen pop up windows.

Allso just cheked windows explorer, and its the same there, and crome too, using epic browser its back to normal.

Running scan on my own computer right now, i have not installed anything wierd on my computer in the past days.

haven't seen anything like that here but I did notice the highlighted keywords in your posts tonight, something weird going on there

there are few new type of browser bet jacking e-bombs about...
add blocker; spyBoot search and destroy; free online scanners and clean up/finishing in a safe mode is the procedure to clean up 😉

Yeah i better run SBS&D too, its so bad here my 70/60 connection feel like my old 4mbit connection.

It happened for me mid post and firefox even jumped off DCT and back to my start page, lucky DCT remember what i had done cuz i was like 20 lines of text into a post when i was kicked back.

It not that i am a commercial hater, i am well aware that nothing come for free, but its no good when commercials cover the page, and allso the keyword hijacking is no favoorite of mine, its on a hardware site i use, and it allmost mede me delete that site in my favorites.

Hehe just now as i was about to press post relpy 2 words in my post was hijacked ( connection & start )

I noticed this too in your posts here.
They link to dashcamtalk[dot]com/#80686424
(I did that to make it not clickable, when clicked it goes back to the home page)
I have never noticed any kind of adds like you show on Firefox or Chrome under both Windows and Linux.

Well since i have control over all my other gadgets i better do a format c: and then reinstall win7 pro

At least thats faster these days compared to reinstalling XP or Vista

I have tried to install a fjew pices of software and use them to remove and clean whatever they find, but the problem is still there, and to me its unacceptable

Woe the persons that ruin the interweb for others, if i get my hands on them

I've been seeing a few pop-up and pop-under ads the last few days as well. Kind of just wrote it off as being part of the troubles that DCT has been having recently.

ged rid of flash players too 😉
them e-bombs are designed on flaws of that and google ad-sense.
And yes, it takes quite few hours to clean up properly them thingys, formatting might be better option after-all

I am back with a clean install 🙂 the worst part was downloading the +1 GB of updates for win 7 pro whith SP1.
And truth be told thats not so bad with a 70mbit connection 😀
I an not sure if reinstalling win 7 is faster than win vista or xp, i think the main reason for the better speed now is my 4 gen SSD c: drive

Or you could have removed a addition from your browser 🙂 It would have been much faster, since this is browser related issue.

Hopefully this is an isolated problem. Haven't seen it on my end but it seems like your browser was hijacked.

Its okay for me i like to do a reinstall once in a while, though i allways seem to loose some files and so on in the process 🙄
The install was a year old, so about times for a flush anyway.
Only thing that bother me is how it sneaked in on my system, i generally run a tight ship, and i have not installed anything worth mentioning within the last couple of days.
And when i do install things i am allways carefull as just about any one try to sneak some toolbar or other unrelated stuff in, and i 😡😡 stuff like that.

I even found 2 hardware updates for my motherbord, allso my BIOS is a little out of date, but the computer run fine normally so i dont bother with what was in those new BIOS updates.
Normally i jump at new BIOS, but i dont push my hardware so much any more, and i have burned my fingers on new BIOS before, but atleast "new" BIOS are more easy to work with than in the old days 😀 my current motherbord even have a backup BIOS, but i think most have that in this day and age.

Had few times similar "e-bombs". It usually happens when you download or install smth from torrents and do not scan file for "add-ons". Quick Google on "how to remove" is always helpful.

Fixed! 😀

I must say that I find it extremely rude to quote somebody and in doing so underline, italicise or otherwise alter the original wording. This has happened on a number of occasions, and it's just not right. I know it's not my post, but if it was, somebody would be getting a mouthful.
